Items such as large boxes, furniture, building materials and any other large miscellaneous items that do not fit into your given trash container WILL NOT be picked up by city trash collectors. Some of us may find that it is easy to dump these items at the back of our garages and forget about them, but let's all remember that many of us live on the alleys in this neighborhood, and your back door is our front door. Trash build-up in the alleys narrows the driving lanes, attracts wildlife and rodents, deteriorates property values, and just plain makes our neighborhood look bad. Please be sure to make arrangements to dispose of your extra trash properly by taking it to the appropriate drop locations, or arranging for a special pick-up. Let's make an effort to keep our neighborhood beautiful!
